The Miracle of St Nicholas

Nicholas the Bishop goes to port to ask the sailors of grain ships to give some to Myra, a city hit hard by famine. A second story is that of a miracle by St Nicholas. A child killed by the devil. Is then brought back to life by Nicholas.

Story

Bishop Nicholas, during a time of famine in Myra, asks sailors carrying grain to Egypt for help. Miraculously, the grain multiplies in their ships, ensuring no shortages when they arrive. Another story tells of a child killed by a disguised devil on St. Nicholas’ festival day. The grieving father prays to St. Nicholas, who resurrects the child. In a backdrop of Christian persecution, Bishop Nicholas’s unwavering faith and miracles shape his legacy.
